A. M. Bagel - Derby

I found this hidden gem thanks to my mom, who works nearby and can’t stop praising it. They serve the best bagels in Connecticut, hands down. The staff is friendly and efficient, making for a great experience. Be sure to arrive early, as they sell out fast! My favorites are the jalapeño cheddar and the French toast bagels, but honestly, all of them are fantastic!

The bagels were exceptional! We ordered five dozen for an event, and every guest praised them. The combination of vanilla cream cheese on cinnamon raisin and French toast bagels was particularly memorable. I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit to Derby to try an A.M. bagel sandwich!

The bagels have this perfect crunch when you bite into them ! This is the best breakfast bagels I have had in Ansonia.

As a first-time customer, I had a bacon, sausage, chicken, egg, and cheese sandwich on an everything egg bagel. The bagel was incredibly soft and fluffy on the inside, while perfectly crunchy on the outside—truly unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. It was fantastic! Jenny at the register was friendly and welcoming. I also appreciated the mirror provided for a quick check to make sure there were no poppy seeds stuck in my teeth. I left feeling happy and can’t wait to return!

Wonderful local spot! Service is fast even with growing popularity and business, rotating flavors of bagels and coffee keeps things interesting, and the staff is always kind. They’ve cultivated a great environment here, and they’re local and family-owned! Highly recommend
