The Shalimar - Derby

Good curries here, Indian food. which is found very less in derby. it is not Indian management, but very well dismantled. good Bollywood music and always crowded. we have dropped some paints here and tried various options. it felt like they used frozen nans and that's where they can improve.

Good ambiente good eating and supporting staff. but I will say, is very rich or fat, but tastes good and good when they have plans to run the next morning.

I left alone tonight when I'm in business. shalimar was highly recommended by my colleagues who had previously visited so that my expectations were high. shalimar has moved to a new location 10 days ago and has worked out the kink. it still smells like fresh color. the service was very, very slow. others who sit long after my seat were served much earlier. Beautiful eating beautiful place great service good times

This is our opinion after the best Indian restaurant in derby. regarding service and a warm welcome I would go so far that it is one of the best restaurants in derby, over all types of kitchens. we started to go to the shalimar, in its earlier spatialities, in the late 1980s and while we tried the other Indian restaurants in the opposite, nothing beats the quality of food, the innovative menu and exemplary service and welcome consistently when they visit the shalimar. we celebrated the results of our life last night. mahmood was friendly enough to buy us all a drink to celebrate. it is the personal note in this magnificent restaurant that always makes a meal from a special occasion.
