Mamma Mia's - Derby

I order from this restaurant every week and the food is consistently amazing. The delivery drivers are always friendly and have a smile on their faces. If I ever have to call them for any reason, they are always willing to help in any way they can. The food is delicious and the service is great.

I waited an hour and a half for chicken, chips, and onion rings. They were very soggy and cold. If you're not interested in serving good food, then this shouldn't be your job. I will not be returning to this restaurant again. The food was terrible.

The takeout food we ordered was perfect. It was delivered on time as promised with excellent customer service.

So we had a bit of a rollercoaster tonight ordering from here. My wife used to order all the time but hadn’t for a while, remembered she loved it so gave it a go. A blast from the past you might say. It didn’t quite go according to plan as there was a mis-communication between the restaurant and the driver. Without going into too much detail (and it’s a happy ending), after what felt like an age and disappointment, we were taken back by the response. The owner Farouk (apologies if I misspelled) was admirable. On the phone whilst my wife was respectfully voicing her dissatisfaction of the food once it arrived, a very empathetic person on the other end of the phone sincerely apologised and guaranteed delivery of our fresh order within 15 minutes. This was honoured, and to our surprise was delivered, in person by the owner himself. He was incredibly kind, gave us complimentary drinks and desert and could not be more accommodating. The food was (as my wife explained) exactly as she remembered and delicious. I have never experienced such considerate and amazing customer service as what I did this evening. Thank you immensely Mamma Mia and especially Farouk. You’re a true gentleman.

Vile. Horrendous service, last 6/7 orders all been wrong. No apologies, loyal customer of 10 years won't ever be back .
