Kava Coffee - Derby

Came for my birthday afternoon tea having been once before I knew it would be good. The food was amazing, the staff are so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I will certainly be visiting again, perhaps for breakfast or lunch next time as all the food looked amazing and a great price. Definitely value for money

Been here a few times and the staff always friendly and would recommend the jacket potatoes always nice and the lady serving us was really nice and made us feel welcome.

Amazing coffee shop! I stopped by for a coffee or tea and a slice of their delicious cake. The staff member provided excellent service. Definitely worth a visit.

My daughter's baby shower at Kava was absolutely wonderful. We had a private function for about 30 guests and the food was delicious and plentiful. The staff were amazing, from the moment we arrived until we left. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Liz and her team did an excellent job and gave us a fantastic afternoon. Thank you.

I recently visited this restaurant and was quite disappointed with my experience. We ordered creamed garlic mushrooms, toast with extra bacon, and two flat white coffees, totaling £20. The mushrooms were served in a watery sauce that seemed like they had just poured milk over them, and they appeared to have been microwaved. The toast was pre-bought and came with no bacon initially. When we asked for the bacon, the server apologized and brought it out, but by then we had already eaten the lukewarm mushrooms. The bacon seemed to have been microwaved as well, and was lackluster in appearance. Overall, £20 felt like a lot to pay for a subpar meal. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.
