James Tea Rooms - Derby

Today, expectations can be a bit unreasonable. Free means free! If someone can't read a sign or keeps wandering off, I really don’t understand the complaints. This isn’t a daycare setting; if you don’t live nearby, it might be less worthwhile due to its small size. However, if you live within a 15-minute drive and want to spend an hour keeping your little one entertained without spending any money, then this place is fantastic!

This is a fantastic place to visit that I've enjoyed for years. Feeding the animals is a lot of fun. They offer a great selection of plants that are of excellent quality and definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

Very enjoyed feeding and interaction with animals. loved the imer of fresh food with which one could feed them (except some, clearly signed, which were in various diets.) good price selection of plants for sale, hofladen, which also reasonable price. unfortunately we missed the cafe for a few minutes, a scandal, as it looked very nice. Not a big place, but friendly animal staff.

What a fantastic place to bring children and friends together! My kids are quite energetic, and they were amazed at how close they could get to the wonderful animals. My 20-month-old daughter was captivated by the cows, and I believe they were her favorites. All the animals appeared well cared for, and we enjoyed some delicious ice cream. The restaurant itself was beautiful, with clear rules for children and their parents, which I think is a great idea. The service was quick, and the food was of high quality. We will definitely be returning!

Only stopped by for breakfast but absolutely loved the place, a definite working farm and the staff were really friendly. The food was delicious and it's easy to see why booking is recommended. Fortunately we were early and managed to get a table. The breakfast was delicious and it was easy to tell all the produce was fresh. Can't wait to visit again.
