X Denver Saffron Grill

It was my birthday, and although I adore this venue and the performers, the service was incredibly disappointing. At our table of five, everyone else received their drinks and service repeatedly, while I kept getting overlooked, even after mentioning multiple times that it was my birthday. It took nearly an hour for my first drink to arrive, by which point my friends were already tipsy. I’m not sure why I was the only one not being served at our table. I had booked the table and brought the group, so the overall service experience was very frustrating.

The food was just average, but I had a great time at brunch! I would definitely go back for the entertainment.

The food was enjoyable overall, though my waffle was burnt. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick service this time, especially since my last visit in June had me waiting over three hours for my meal without ever receiving it.

The website prominently advertises that any dish can be made vegan. When we requested a vegan meal for brunch we were told that they didn't have any vegan ingredients that day, so apparently vegan options are only available when the restaurant decides they'll happen to order the ingredients for that day. The food that the non-vegan members of our group ordered was dry and flavorless. The **** marys were pretty good.
