Twentieth Street Cafe - Denver

Love this place. Great hole in the wall spot, classic cafe/diner experience. Awesome if you want to get away from the crowded brunch scene. Pictured is the sausage breakfast burrito... So big it doesn't fit on the plate. What more could you ask for?

This place is the real deal. It’s one of the last spots in town where locals come together to indulge in a hearty breakfast. Just seat yourself when you walk in; otherwise, you might reveal yourself as a newcomer or a Californian. The owner, Rod, is still in the back cooking up eggs and pancakes. The décor in the tiny bathroom hasn’t changed since the place opened, and neither has the waitstaff. The aromas of Denver’s blue-collar history mingle with the scent of black coffee and sausage patties. The "Rod's Big Breakfast" is the highlight of the menu. You may have had something similar before, but never off Rod’s flat-top grill and never prepared by his skilled hands. He’s truly a legend in Denver. If you peek into the back, you might catch a glimpse of a master at work. Don’t miss this gem, because once it’s gone, it won’t be coming back!

I had a fantastic breakfast burrito here. The takeout service was super quick! There's a charming little bar for solo dining, which is perfect for anyone on the go. I enjoyed chatting with both the waitstaff and other customers. I tend to add Tabasco to most of my meals, so that's the red sauce you see. My original order was a burrito with green sauce.

What a great place for breakfast or lunch. Great dinner food and excellent service from all the staff. Great food for everyone!!

A nice and quaint little restaurant near the hotel I'm staying. Food came out fast and good. The service was cool as well.
