Tried to place an order yesterday and they do not have any vegan mock meats anymore, and have not changed their menus to reflect that. Very disappointed!
My wife and I had take out which was a good idea as the atmosphere is a bit lacking. It took a long time to get our food however in all fairness looks like they were understaffed. My wife 's noodle dish was ok however my chicken dish was made of I 'm guessing seitan balls and I have nothing against seitan. However they were too large to eat at once and very hard to cut. There was very little attempt to disguise them as non-chicken. They could have doubled as week-old matzo balls, left in the sun. Barely any flavor. So maybe some of their other dishes work but I would stay away from the chicken balls.
We ordered 4 dishes: orange chicken, chicken chow mein, general tso chicken and broccoli with garlic. Steamed rice. We ordered the fried rice not knowing it had egg so that was disappointing. Other than that tho the food was AMAZING. You can pick your level of spice for the spicy dishes, which I appreciate. I would definitely recommend.
They have so many vegan options and I am so happy to be able to eat my old favorites Chinese dishes. Very friendly owners too and if within so many miles, cheap delivery!
