Tamale Kitchen - Denver

The tamale cuisine is absolutely delicious! I really enjoy ordering their tamales and burritos. Everything is so tasty, thank you! I plan to stop by for lunch when I'm working in the city.

I had a traditional lunch featuring classic Mexican American dishes. The meal included enchiladas topped with melted cheese and rich red sauce, a crispy chile relleno, and traditional hard-shell tacos. The side of rice came with sweet corn kernels and various interesting additions, while the thick refried beans, corn chips, and red salsa complemented the meal perfectly. One unique dish was the Mexican egg rolls; they were quite delicious—both crunchy and chewy—served with a small side of flavorful green chile. I’m definitely looking forward to going back soon just to enjoy them again. On a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was moderately busy, but the two young women serving in the dining room were attentive and cheerful.

I had the steak tacos plate yesterday and the steak burrito special today. My wife tried the bean egg rolls. It was much better than another restaurant I visited in Lakewood.

This tamale kitchen is the best! christina is wonderful and welcomes me and my associates when we come in. can not recommend this place enough!

My bill for a person was almost $18 for lunch. That's good, but for the price I could eat anywhere. somewhere with comfortable sitting and a pleasant atmosphere. I asked if they served chips and salsa with the meal. the waitress said yes, but you have to ask for them how they gave me my food. the best part about a Mexican restaurant is snacking on chips while waiting for them. I had to go to the counter to get a drink refill and serviettes. the food looked great, but it was missing taste. I'm not going there anymore. at the price I can eat everywhere.
