Recess Beer Garden - Denver

What a great place, ambience and outdoor area so cool. I thought it should be a variety of beer on the menu and a better choice of food, but what they have is good.

Whitney was an amazing host. Great outdoor vibes. They let us change tables when we were cold. Good was GREAT!

Great experience for dinner! Sat outside near fire, which was perfect for a chilly night.

I’m leaving one star because I couldn’t even get service. Not at my table and not when I approached the bar. It was annoying because the person who was supposed to be my server went up to a group of men to take their order right next to us, but then ignored us! A pair of girls! It honestly made me wonder if they didn’t want to serve us because we were sporting pride gear, but that’s fine we packed up and went to McDonald’s, where we got much faster service.

Great place! Great times! This is becoming one of Colorado's more older bars. I used to come here 5 to 6 years ago. It's still just as fun now as it was before. The staff is so friendly, and so helpful! Even when they're three people deep at the bars. Very chill atmosphere. Parking could be a little difficult to find. That's about it. Absolutely love this place. There's a lot of places around Highlands. You should definitely check this place out! ?
