Pantry Basket - Denver

I work for someone else and I will go to Safeway for the following items, watermelon chunks, cookies (yours are cheaper), your buy one get 1 steaks (they maybe thin but it's still steak and they cook fast), and also the chicken. I bought 2 packages of the buy1 get 1 chicken nuggets. They were great in my Air Fryer. Oh and most importantly the jello in the cooler. I love the berry blue. Please keep more on hand. I was there twice this week and the shelf was empty. I buy 4 everything I go in. That lasts me about 2 1/2 days if that. Keep up the good work.

I can not say for sure that this is the safest way to shop for groceries, but I haven’t been injured ever and am grateful to the staff for this opportunity. Highly recommend

Y'all got a Superman working at your store. I was in line getting checked out by the cashier, when I pulled out my phone that had a gift card on it. The cashier was super cool and super nice and also super new, doing a great job of learning the register. She called over Terrel, who took the time to show her how those are done. Terrell noticed somebody trying to leave the store with what had to be about $350 worth of items. He flew over to the door and stopped the guy and then escorted me to an open lane so he could void the transaction and re-ring my items. Not only did he check me out, he opened the lane to help out more customers after me. I forgot to grab the name of the cashier, but she and Terrell and are the type of employees any company could be lucky enough to have. Definitely employee of the month type of behavior and raise worthy if you ask me!

The store itself was clean and had a good selection of products. The self checkout scanner, however had me nearly leave the store with my order half checked out. I've not had so much trouble with a self checkout scanner in YEARS. Likely will not choose to shop here again.

The longtime employees at this Safeway are the store's strongest asset very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Would have given 5 stars, but recently the only choice available in afforable paper towels are the vari size and I hate vari size! Will shop for paper towels at a competitor in the future.
