Now, let's talk about the pricing. A Pepsi for $3.99? Having worked at Pepsi, I know the costs associated with soda production, transport, and labor—it really adds up. Even an apple lemonade for $5.50 feels excessive compared to soda. The mark-up is noticeable. I didn't mind paying these prices, but I was genuinely frustrated with the scant amount of chicken, carrots, and noodles in my soup. I had been dealing with a migraine for two days, so a comforting bowl of chicken soup was exactly what I craved, even though I still felt unwell. After taking a few bites, I was left with what felt like cold chicken water—it was devoid of any real broth. To make matters worse, I discovered that the bread had horse riding on it, and I'm allergic to that! Not cool at all. I had to spit out the food while in the car. I understood the prices going in and was willing to pay because I was too sick to cook. I used to visit Panera every week with my brother, but after this experience, that’s not going to happen again. I’m giving this place 2 stars because the chicken water was decent, but overall, I was extremely disappointed. The soup was clearly lacking in quality and flavor—much more than just chicken water, which was far better than what I received! How could the server feel good about serving that to a customer? It's bewildering. My attempt at a comforting meal, thinking it would help me feel better, ended up costing $18.65 for some mediocre chicken water and drinks! Yes, it was quite frustrating! After hearing they had no French bread, I almost left but didn’t want to drive to another Panera since I wasn’t feeling well enough. In hindsight, I wish I had just left. At the very least, I should’ve eaten something else!
Panera has very friendly staff and quite good food. My main issue is that it's expensive! I ordered a kids' mac and cheese meal for my son, which included mac and cheese and an apple—though it wasn’t even a good apple; he tried it and refused to eat it. While the mac and cheese itself were tasty, I didn’t find the value to be worth the price.
Panera has very friendly staff and pretty goo food. my main handle is that it is expensive! I got a mac n cheese child meal for my son (mac n cheese and a apple and not even a good apple - he tried and refused to eat it) and it was over $8. the mac itself was good, but the worth was really not there for me.
Had my favorite tuna salad sandwich and tried the white macaroni and cheese. Both were great. This location is in the city but does have a tight drive through and small, cramped parking lot.
