Milk Honey Kitchen - Denver

We made reservations to celebrate my best friend's birthday, and we were seated in the beautiful and tranquil outdoor area. It was a Sunday evening, and although the restaurant wasn't busy, the service was impressively slow. While the taste and presentation of the food were decent, nothing stood out as special, and the portion sizes were disappointingly small. We found ourselves needing to place multiple orders simply to fill up, and the waitress was not particularly helpful in guiding us to better options. Even the empty plates felt small. With three of us dining, the bill was surprisingly high for what we received, and we all left still hungry. We were looking forward to a lovely dinner, but it turned out to be quite disappointing.

This was our second visit, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. I ordered the small plate ravioli, which was delicious, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough for a main course. I hope to receive more attention during our next visit.

We visited Milk Honey before heading to a show. We informed our server that we had to leave for the performance, but she vanished soon after. The drinks we ordered were fantastic, but the food was disappointing. The chicken dish, which should be a substantial portion, was ridiculously small and definitely not worth the price! I would return for the cozy drinks, but probably not for a meal—it just isn't worth it!

Although the food was delicious and the service first started great, we finally felt completely forgotten as the only one inside this evening. our water replenishments were in between little and far, and an hour passed before we were able to, our Entree order after more than 30 minutes waiting for our appetizers. our entire dinner lasted 3 hours for only 2 people, and it would have only 2 to take if the service was more diligent.

We had 11:30 reservations and there were only two other parties in the place. we didn't get out of there until 1:00. The solo waitress disappeared for over 10 minutes right after she said she'd be right back to take our order. There were other parties that arrived after us and were served before us. We thought they forgot about us again. There were four in our party and only three plates arrived together. The other three of us were almost done eating when the fourth plate arrived. The flavors were good, although the ravioli portion was very small and the beef on weck and nicoise salad portion was very large. No consistency. Very disappointing considering it was a Tuesday lunch with not very many people there. Unless they can improve on service, this place is not going to last long.
