Lou's Italian Specialties - Denver

Lou’s is a bit of an enigma given it’s an Italian deli located in NE Denver. But it’s amazing, local, authentic. I recommend the Louie as a salad. It puts the chains to shame.

When we walked in zero acknowledgment that we came in from the server Adrian he was on his phone while taking our order and extremely rude. We mentioned we were eating there finally when he noticed we were sitting down he brought out food out in a bag and the hot sandwiches were cold from sitting there because he was to busy on his phone. Multiple people came in and he acknowledged them.. This was our first time here and our last due to the experience we had with this man... Be a GOOD person to all.

We had lunch at this place on Sunday, and it was packed, tho it took us barely 10 minutes to order. we sat on the patio, and even in Denver, it was peaceful. the food was really good, about $12 for a regular cold sandwich. and!! they have complimentary water in glasses.

Excellent food, very authentic. Very pricy though! About $20 for a sandwich.

Best deli sandwiches in Denver by far! Been to various other delis popular in Denver, and Lou’s far surpassed them. It’s a little pricier but well worth it!
