I visited on a Sunday evening with a few friends and was pleasantly surprised by the menu, which featured classic dishes and traditional recipes. When my food arrived, I was impressed by the creative presentation. The flavors of both the pasta and meat entrees were outstanding.
I visited for their lunch special and it was an excellent experience! The three-course lunch was just the right amount of food, and the outdoor patio seating was delightful. I’ll definitely be planning a dinner date here in the future.
The food was equally impressive, featuring a creative menu that delighted our taste buds. Everything we ordered was both delicious and innovative, setting it apart from the typical "Nuevo-Americana" fare served at many other bistros in town. Considering they have only been open for five days, I was genuinely impressed by the overall quality of everything. I've noticed that many new restaurants often fall short in one aspect of the experience—typically service or food quality and presentation—most likely due to staffing challenges here in Denver. However, Liberati exceeded expectations: the staff was friendly, the food was not only tasty but also beautifully presented. I wholeheartedly give it 5 stars and will definitely be returning!
The service was excellent but the food was just ok. It was kind of pricey so I expected more. The ambience was so so but very noisy. The bright spot was the beer. I would come back for a beer and cheese board especially in the summer when I can sit outside.
EDIT 7/10/19: I came in here recently and everything has changed. The menu now has many more options that are tasty and a little more affordable, the atmosphere has been made more cozy and open, and the servers are awesome and on top of things. I think they did a really good job listening to what people wanted. I especially loved the bacon wrapped plums. Yum! MY OLD REVIEW We came in on a date night and it took a really long time for our water to even come out. This was a theme of the evening, even noted by our friendly sever. He did give us a free glass of wine as apology but it was a hard pill to swallow. The dishes were overpriced for the amount of food we received although all the food was incredibly tasty. As a gluten free person, the options were severely limited. The music was all butt rock and not very awesome. The atmosphere felt like a big chain restaurant which made the prices even harder to swallow. We tried their signature beer which is mixed with wine and it was super sweet. Great if you're into that. We also had the chianti and it was pretty decent. We also tried the lamb, octopus and polenta and all were tasty but small in portion size.
