Full Afterburner Calzones - Denver

This place is trash. Literally just eat trash before you eat here.They served us microwaved frozen meatballs as an appetizer and then have the audacity to ask what was wrong with the order.The calzone was an oversized hot pocket with less flavor. If you want to eat here, buy a hot pocket and run it over with your vehicle and it’ll be better than here.

Best place in town for a father/son night out. My son calls this the airplane cookie store. The employees are out of this world nice to us. They even let my little guy use the remote control to the huge model fighter plane hanging from the ceiling. 5/5 every time I’m there!

However, I had one unpleasant experience when I ordered through Uber Eats because it was the only payment method I could use at the time. My boyfriend and I were in the city for work, and I had just enough credit on Uber Eats for us to eat there (Yeah, I was a bit broke, sorry). After we finished our meal, someone who I believe was the manager or owner approached us. In a very calm and quiet manner, he reprimanded me for ordering through Uber. I understand that Uber Eats can take a significant cut, but the way he addressed me was quite embarrassing, and as a result, I’m not sure if I’ll return out of that discomfort. I definitely recommend dining there; just maybe avoid ordering through Uber Eats.

Our daughter discovered this restaurant for me, and as a big aviation enthusiast, I found the atmosphere to be perfect. The calzones are excellent too, with a great gluten-free option available. It was a nice choice for lunch. I really enjoy the military theme and the awesome 80s and 90s music videos playing in the background.
