Fontana Sushi 534 E Alameda Location

I went to dinner at Fontana for the first time on We ordered both sushi and tempura style entrees. The food was very good, especially the sushi!The one thing that made the experience pretty uncomfortable was the number of people in the restaurant. It was packed! There was no social distancing happening as every table was seated. I was very surprised given COVID is still happening. I felt safe entering the restaurant because the staff was taking temperatures and wearing mask and gloves when we entered. Also, the restaurant wasn't packed when we sat down so I was very surprised when it filled in. I love supporting small local businesses many of which are hurting economically during Covid, but definitely do NOT recommend this restaurant for covid conscience people who want to social distance while dining

Priced very well. Got Reservation indoors during zero temps, on Valentine’s weekend no one had open reservations for indoor seating last minute. Highly recommend!!

Great fish at a god value. Been here many times and we keep coming back

The food was excellent. My husband was stationed in Okanowa Japan and he has never had fresh wasabi before tonight. The sea bass was excellent! I had the Big Dragon roll that was with eel which is my favorite. Do get the fresh wasabi, you won’t regret it!!!

We live in the neighborhood and come here fairly often. Their service is always good and genuine. They are friendly and offer great recommendations. Priced very well
