Everything was cooked very well, especially the meat, although the rice didn't quite measure up. This restaurant stands out in popularity compared to the other options in the nearby food court. However, despite their efficiency in getting orders out, I wouldn't recommend dining here if you're short on time between flights.
We recently discussed Austin, but I wanted to share my recent trip to Seattle and the delicious food I tried there. To get there, we had a layover in Denver, so I headed straight to the food court. The first place that caught my eye was City Wok. I decided to stick with the basics and ordered sweet and sour chicken along with some Krab Rangoon Wontons. The wontons were decent but not particularly crispy, and the filling was quite average. The main dish was similar—neither great nor terrible. A bit more flavor in the sauce would have made a difference. Overall, it was just okay, which is often what you can expect from airport food. So, I can now say I've (kind of) eaten in Denver! My rating: C.
I noticed several airport employees dining there, so I thought it might be a good choice. The vegetables were fresh, and they prepared the food on the spot instead of serving it from under a heat lamp (ahem, Panda Express...). Given my low expectations for airport food, I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the veggies. In fact, I had already enjoyed the perfectly steamed broccoli before I remembered to take a photo!
Great option if you find yourself in Terminal B at Denver Airport. Great food. Made fresh and hot. Fairly quick in preparing food. Service was good. Food was great. I had the orange chicken. Again very good!
