Drinks are fantastic and a good price. I don't think the menu descriptions do the dishes justice, although it's hard to convey the complex flavors in them. Plantain with cheese appetizer was an interesting combo, and the calamari was really great. I got the seafood copacabana and it was awesome the shrimp and scallops were fantastic as well as the broth. It had a lot of largely cut raw bell peppers (and the plating was very 80's) which felt a little like an afterthought, but did go together with the other components well. My boyfriend got the la juliana which is fantastic all around, the orange sauce is tangy and not too sweet and the plantains (these are bananas) are especially great. Some of the best flavors in Denver.
One of my favorite restaurants. Great service food and drinks!
I thought it was a Brazilian restaurant, but it's just the name. They have caipirinha, but that's the only Brazilian thing.
I have wanted to go here for a while and am so glad that I finally did. The atmosphere is so lovely and everyone was very friendly. The flavor of every dish we had was mind blowingly delicious. Do yourself a favor and don’t wait to eat here.
Nearly perfect experience with welcoming, competent staff. The only tiny demerit was a very loud hipster table nearby who left their inside voices at home. i had not been to Cafe Brazil in more than a decade. They execute their menu with precision and refinement. This restaurant is a true survivor, a literal artifact of pre metastatic gentrification in North Denver. There are scant such businesses left, and they merit recognition as true gems.
