It was 0 outside, and an additional tea bag would have been a mindful gesture and good customer service on such a cold night. Especially, since we were one of the very few that still kept our reservation. The butternut squash soup was great, the tenderloin wrapped in bacon was okay, and the creme brulee' was tasty; but I felt the overall flavor profile fell short. The collard greens did not compliment the tenderloin and competed with the sweetness of the potato puree. Instead of a part going on in my mouth, it was war. The meal was just ok and not a good for me.
Went with 3 adults and 2 children and loved it. All of the employees we encountered were very friendly and attentive. All of the food was delicious, at the level where you can tell the ingrediants are fresh and they really craft the recipes to add the extra ingrediants to make them unique and memorable. The Baller Bacon and Taos Benedict are must orders!
Sever was attentive and charismatic, our food was good, and our favorite part of the night was our breakfast shots made with pecan whiskey and butterscotch snapps, followed by a chaser of OJ with a little half slice of bacon- it was breakfast in a shot and ssooo delicious! This is defiantly a place when packed out because of the high ceilings, you kind of yell at each other across the table. We had fun, it was tasty, and we’ll be back. My crispy Brussels were nothing special, but the shrimp and grits was really rich and flavorful, and my friend said her chicken and waffles was the best she had ever had.
This was our first visit to Bacon Social House (celebrating my birthday and it very wont be our last. The ambiance was inviting and the restaurant was very clean. We were greeted with smiles and felt very welcome. The service was wonderful and not rushed (KerriAnn you are wonderful! . Since this was a special dinner with family (husband and two young children , it was really important that my kiddos enjoy their dinners too. We found that they were Kid Friendly. BSH was so very accommodating to our requests (even during Restaurant Week . Dinner was delicious, my burger (The PB&J was cooked well and the flavors married quite nicely. My husbands Chicken and Waffles were great too! Our children had waffles and bacon and they were very satisfied. We ended our night with desert Creme Brûlée and the Bacon Brownies, Yum, I’ll just leave it at that. All in all we had a wonderful evening, we can’t wait to try brunch. Will definitely be back soon!
