At the price I don't know about another BBQ place in Denton that hits it. Get a great sandwich under 6 dollars and choose a 6 pack from their excellent selection. Will definitely come back.

Both bbq meats and sides are excellent. Sweet potato crosscut fries were especially tasty. Service was fast and particularly friendly.

Mother's day and we are so happy we stopped by. It was very busy when we walked in. They took our order and we looked at their massive soda pop selection while they prepared our order. The guy who took our order was very nice. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

One of Denton’s well hidden secrets! I thought they only sold meat to take home and cook! They have Fischer’s (local) meat cheese. And you can sit and eat a meal! Lots of adult beverages too! I look for low-carb keto. Perfect place for this! #Germanmeatmarket

Love this place. After tonight I think this Metzlers is better than the one on University. I had the Double chicken fried steak dinner. Amazing. My family had the chopped beef sandwich, corn nuggets, bbq salad, corn dog and chicken strips. Loved all of it. Got some sodas in glass bottles on the way out. They have a bunch of different wines and beers. Amazing place.
