It seems that the draw to this place is that it tries to be a semi fancy restaurant in a Po-dunk town like Denton and people are enamored with that concept. But it fails to deliver. Time and time again.
Experience was great. I appreciate the ambiance (a bit dark), the food was generous and tasty. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Will I be back? Sure... why not?
Omg the food. The special of seafood risotto was sublime!!
This is a really nice place, but it's strictly for wealthy adults. There's only 3 non-alcoholic drinks on the menu including 2 mocktails and water. The entrées are between about $30-$50, dinner and lunch portions are available. Overall, this place is very nice, and as you can see here, the dessert is superb!
A few words are needed to help organize a fairly brief review, on the basis that when I last tried to eat at the location, it was under other management, as the short-lived Texican Tex-Mex restaurant, pre-COVID-19: From my sketchy memory, I recall that it was a very spacious patio area with connecting dining rooms, a relaxing space for intimate dining and special dates, a mere minutes walk from the downtown Denton square. It's time for a visit to see what, apart from the ownership, has changed! Happy dining, wherever you happen to be. Cheers, Mark F.
