We had a most enjoyable lunch at Ajar restaurant at Estate 807 today. Both the food & the service were excellent. We also enjoyed a bottle of Mt Barker Riesling. All in all a lovely way to spend a cold & rainy Sunday. Thank you & we won't hesitate to recommend your restaurant to others.

The food was divine and the country setting made for a very relaxing atmosphere. I had the gnocchi that just melted in my mouth. With fresh mushrooms and cream it was a delightful dish! My companion thoroughly enjoyed the beef fillet and complemented the sauce as being exquisite and vegetables perfectly done. We both could not go past an endulgent creme brulee. The flavour of the vanilla bean and the hint of spices made it a perfect luxurious treat. The boys were lovely warm hosts.
