Family Table - Denison

This restaurant is a great spot for a comforting meal. The food came out hot and was delicious. The only issue was that they only had enough bark meat for one order when we both ordered it. However, this was not a big problem as they quickly changed our order to a pork platter with potato pockets, which turned out to be one of the best dishes we've had. We will definitely be returning for it. Despite the lunchtime rush and full restaurant, the service was good. The prices were reasonable and we left full and satisfied.

I have always enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The breakfast here is the best in town. The number of cars in the parking lot is a good indicator of the quality of the food. Mike and his staff take good care of their customers and their business.

We tried the pecan pie, but the pecans were not very fresh. My boyfriend had the lemon pie and the topping kept falling off. It seemed like most of the pies were store bought. The loaded tater tots had too much sour cream, but the taco bowl was delicious, although it could have been a bit bigger. Overall, no complaints about the taco bowl.

The food is good, especially their onion rings. Clean, friendly and we had a great waitress. Great family restaurant.
