The food was really tasty and the portions very generous. Not rushed and felt very welcome. Will be back very soon. Thanks to all the staff.
Went for a family meal, never been here before. All 5 adults had Sunday dinners and the 2 children eat off children's menu, food was exceptional as was the service, lovely friendly staff. I would definitely return to this lovely gem of a place, highly recommended
I hadn't been to this restaurant in a few years, and it looks exactly the same inside. It wasn't very welcoming to see the bartender wearing an outdoor anorak behind the counter. Despite that, it was warm enough by the fire and the atmosphere was friendly and lively. However, we were disappointed to find out that two dishes were unavailable, leaving us with a limited selection of non-vegetarian options. We ordered fish and chips and a lamb burger, both of which were okay but nothing extraordinary. The chips were tasteless. The sticky toffee pudding, on the other hand, was tasty.
Had a lovely tea there in a lovely atmosphere. The beer garden is excellent and it is lovely in the sun
This charming country pub is a hidden gem. With ample parking and spacious outdoor seating, it's the perfect venue for a relaxing meal. The staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and the food is absolutely delicious. We opted for the Sunday lunch and were thoroughly impressed.
