Life Is Sweet - Denbighshire

During our exploration of Prestatyn, we discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant and we are so grateful we did! My companion and I both savored delicious milkshakes made with ice cream, accompanied by a decadent chocolate and a scrumptious piece of cake each. The food and drinks were exceptional, prompting us to purchase some chocolates to bring back home. The prices were very reasonable and the young lady who served us was delightful. We definitely plan to return during our next visit to Prestatyn.

Visiting this shop is like coming home. You are always made to feel welcome and the quality of the sweets and the food in the tea rooms is second to none.

This is a gem!!! My first visit although my wife has been raving about it for months. It is a wonderful wonderful tea room. We had tea and cake, ice cream and wonderful espresso. Magnificent welcome and hospitality with excellent food and drink. Truly worth a visit when you need time out. I cannot recommend this place enough. Wonderful.

Love it, love it, love it. Three rooms upstairs, decorated all by hand, by the owner. One room decked out for children (amazing). We sat downstairs in the back cafe. All very vintage and soooooo cute. Photos don't do it justice. Lovely owner, she cooks everything herself including the cakes and the chocolates in the shop. Tasty chicken and veg soup at £3.50 far too cheap. Free taster chocolates with the bill. All very clean and tidy and homely. Relaxing atmosphere right next to the busy Prestatyn retail park.

Lovely sweet shop filled with old and new fashioned sweets! Next we were surprised by the marvellous afternoon tea rooms in the back and even more upstairs! Also the 1950's music contributed to a great atmosphere throughout our visit. Staff were excellent and answered any questions we asked about their homemade chocolates and fudge. Prices were very reasonable for what you get so we will definitely return!
