Cookhouse Pub Carvery - Denbighshire

The food is delicious, made with quality ingredients, and reasonably priced. The restaurant has a clean and fresh atmosphere, is very accommodating to dogs, and has friendly and attentive staff.

Affordable and cheerful. The staff, including the meat carver, were friendly and helpful. Everything at the carving station was delicious, except for the roast potatoes which were chewy and hard. It seemed like they had been cooked the day before and reheated.

We had the carvery, turkey was so dry I has to spit it out, roast potatoes were dry and very hard, pigs in blankets were rock solid. Ordered my son an 8 oz gammon steak and when it arrived it was so small I had to give him some of my gammon off my carvery. Much improvement needed.

Went for the Sunday carvery and us 4 adults enjoyed it very much apart from the roast potatoes which were sadly a bit hard and dry. The children's meals were generous potions and both grandsons cleared their plates. The furnishings let the place down torn seat covers for example.
