Sapporo Kitchen - Delta

Ordered from Skip the dishes and a bag of our food didn’t arrive. Most of the food did so we started to eat and sent an inquiry in to Skip about the missing items. Usually we just get a skip credit and call it a day. This time was different though. Sapporo’s called us and said they wanted to make it right. They said, “we are very sorry that a bag with your food in it got missed with the driver. We want to make it right and bring you your food. We also want to thank you by giving you some extra.” And so he gave us some options of what we could get. When he arrived, not only did he give us the items that were missed originally and the items we got to choose. He actually gave us all the extra items that we had to choose from when he called.No disrespect to any of the other sushi places in Ladner (or all the other restaurants in the area) but step up your game y’all! This is customer service.

This is probably the best sushi place in Ladner. The food is consistently delicious and the standards do not drop. Their service needs to be better as a few times we had to get up from our table to chase the waiter so we can get our food/cheque. Need to definitely hire more people. The waitress (who seems to be part owner) has a great attitude and always greets with a smile. Will definitely go back!

Sapporo never disappoints us. Their food is consistently delicious. They have a large variety of options and some excellent party trays. Pricing is budget friendly. The service is always lovely.

Bold flavoursFor sushi restaurant Sapporo Kitchen has some bold and clean flavours. This was clear with the nigiri I ordered. I had also ordered some rolls with pleasant texture but it was the balance of the flavours of the nigiri that makes me want more.

I can only comment on the food, as I ordered takeout. Sushi (whether it's rolls, nigiri, or aburi) is excellent. The overall quality is a tier above most Japanese restaurants in the Lower Mainland. Prices are slightly above average but not wallet-breaking.
