Steak 'n Shake In Lans

I’m a big Culver’s fan, so figured I’d give steak and shake a try. Its NO WHERE NEAR the level that Culver’s is at food wise. It’s like a baby step better than Burger King. That’s about it. On par with Wendy’s burger wise.. onion rings were pure grease and not cooked long enough. No crisp.

Have to order, pay and pick up food when dining in. It isn't bad service, it is no service. Priced high in general. Special pricing is okay. Nothing fancy!

Had to download the app to order. No hard copy menu to see. Had to pass my phone around the table for our party to make their choices. Took half an hour to order and 15 minutes to retrieve our food, another 5 for the shakes.

It 's been a couple years since our local Steak 'n Shake closed so we enjoyed the opportunity to visit. I forgot how good those thin, crispy and juicy at the same time, burgers are. The crispy skinny fries are still delicious. And a Nutella milkshake is exactly as good as it sounds!

Double bacon cheeseburger was juicy well cooked and delicious and went very well with the fries that were hot abd fresh and also delicious
