Terra Fiamma - Delray Beach

It was a very average meal and disappointing. The Lobster ravioli was suspiciously missing the lobster. The ravioli was so flat, very little inside and drowned in a heavy cream sauce which looked like soup. The clams oreganato were not fresh and very tiny. On the upside, the Sangria was tasty, the salad was good and our server was great.

We went early and hoped it would be quieter with good service and food. It was none of the above. It was so noisy that the waiter had to shout the specials. We never saw him again and had many people serving, and very poorly at that. We had to ask for clean plates to share a very expensive appetizer, ask for forks and spoons after the appetizer, and had to tell a different server who ordered which main courses. The waiter should have seen to that. This was the worst service and experience we have had in this area in years! The strange thing is that on their app it says casual business attire recommended...we were the only ones wearing that. Most people had shorts and flip flops. It was like a very noisy, expensive McDonalds with a more upscale menu, but not better food! The noise level became so loud that we couldn't have the desserts we had hoped for. There was a screaming toddler running around the restaurant, barefoot, and for the prices we paid and also just being s civilized place to eat, was not acceptable. We will never return there.

Katie N was a terrific server. She was knowledgeable, professional and very upbeat. Made our dining experience very enjoyable. Food was delicious and very generous portions. We all went home with leftovers due to the size of the portions.
