The selection of plates are very unique, but falling on the expensive side, the Flambé tarte didin Dessert was great, definitely the best of the night. The staff was very gentle and fast, also complementary ballet parkings no discomfort at all, it was an amazing night.
Located just south of the Avenue in Delray Beach is the mainstay La Cigale, which serves up a cross between various Mediterranean cuisines with focus on French and Italian flavors. The crowd, on one hand, made me feel quite youthful as we were the only ones not with gray on top I recollect, but managed to feel slightly out of place as well. Nonetheless, it was quite enjoyable as they had an older gentlemen singing hits by Sinatra and other classics along those lines. As for the menus there was nothing creative or out of the ordinary I would have liked to have seen so we opted for the grilled lamb chops were cooked rather well and flavorful. Nothing mind blowing, but worth getting. The chicken francese, pictured, was generous in portion, fresh and tender, rather enjoyable. Again, not the best I?ve had, but if I ended up here it would be a possible repeat. With a supremely friendly bartender that served us, it was a lovely meal.
Excellent choice for a warm cosy outing with the significant other. Great atmosphere and lighting, with professional wait staff. The menu selection is very comprehensive, with a good selection for all. And lastly, but certainly not least, the taste, quality and serving portions of the menu items are excellent!!! Attempting to describe the taste and flavoring of the food, would be futile. It just has to be experienced. Loved every bite of everything wee tried. It is certainly a must for the higher end dining experience. Two negative things worth pointing out, would be the location and the pricing. The location is a little awkward (in what seems to be a drab residential neighborhood) and the pricing is a little on the high side. Nevertheless, I would recommend this place as a must visit, if you 're ever in the Deerfield beach area.
Overpriced but definitely yummy. I loved the flatbread. We went for Happy Hour. The calamari was good.
We fled from the west coast because of Hurricane Ian and discovered this amazing restaurant. The food is fantastic with a wide selection and the wine list is also diverse and well-chosen. The owner is incredibly welcoming and the bartender, Debbie, makes excellent drinks and is a lovely person. There is a sense of home here, with a regular crowd that adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The Happy Hour and Bar Dinner menu are a great deal. We dined in the dining room one night and in the bar the next, enjoying our experience both times. There are other options nearby, but none quite like this incredible establishment. It's worth a visit, even without a hurricane prompting your evacuation.
