One of the best Italian restaurants in Delray! The food was incredible it reminded me so much of one of my favorite restaurants in Verona! If you want to escape the bustle of the avenue, give Il Girasole a try you will love it!

Excellent authentic Italian cuisine! The carpaccio appetizer was probably the best I've ever had! And the service and atmosphere was also top shelf! Ask for Cristy!

I had heard from many people that this restaurant was a local favorite, but honestly, I have had better Italian cuisine. Good Italian food is unforgettable, and when you leave a good Italian restaurant, you should remember the taste. I ordered mussels with linguine, and while the mussels were good, the linguine was very watery and lacked flavor - it tasted like boiled pasta. Another person in our group ordered veal piccata, but they were out of veal. Despite this, she still ordered it and found it to be bland and watery. My husband's escargot was good, and the lobster ravioli was tasty but very rich. My mushroom soup was homemade and delicious. Overall, we were disappointed with our dining experience.
