Ember Grill - Delray Beach

Excellent food and perfect service. Jonathan and Fabian were the best, their service, attitude and willingness was perfect. They made our anniversary dinner a perfect one.

Nice atmosphere but food and service were mediocre. Started out with the bartender getting our drinks wrong, then we could not get wait staff attention to send them back to be corrected, even though it seemed like plenty of staff. One of the appetizers, the Squash Blossoms were almost inedible. We would have sent them back, but were with another couple and did not want to disrupt the dinner. Deviled eggs were good. Our Caeser salad came and it also was horrible, not recognizable as Caeser. Finally I ordered the chicken and it was greatly under seasoned. How do you mess up chicken? On top of this they charge $25 for parking and hold $25 per person reservation cancellation fee. This place won't last without a major change.

The food was “ok” we had a shrimp cocktail to start with and received three medium shrimp for $25 I know we are in South Florida, but this was laughable. The burger was good and the fries were great. The burger was a decent value for a hotel restaurant in Delray, the truffle fries were a $4 up charge, and not really worth it. We shared a chop salad that was really good. That atmosphere was stunning, and we had such high hopes. Would not recommend and would not return.

Their happy hour should be packed. They've got the best food options, especially the stuffed zucchini blossoms. The drinks are great. Winnie the bartender provided great service and recommendations.
