Carmela Coffee Company - Delray Beach

The location is okay, but the food and the service are not. Also, it is absolutely overpriced. Not sure what the concept is. It looks like they are attempting to have some sort of European style, but is quite confusing and, for sure, not European at all.

We paid $18 for two frozen croissants and a latte. The croissants are incredibly overpriced, they are clearly not fresh, or, if they are, the quality is poor at best. The latte was served about 10 minutes after the croissants, it was okay, but far from good. The service is not the best, especially the lady at the register appeared to be quite annoyed while taking our order. In a few words, not recommended at all.

Excellent Spinach Empaladas and cappuccino. Only one person taking orders making drinks and serving so took a while to order. Worth the wait in quality and taiste. Shakshuka in the pic was amazing. Poached eggs with spinach mushrooms and feta cheese in pic. Will returnParking: 12

Love this place! The croissants are delicious and the ambiance is so cozy. Perfect place for meetups.
