800 Palm Trail - Delray Beach

Have often eaten dinner on 800 palm trail and have nothing bad to say about it. it was great in terms of eating and service. but they started a few months ago with Sunday brunch. I tried with friends at the beginning and had problems with several of our party getting their food cold. they demanded it was heated and it was still not hot when brought back. they stayed away to go to brunch for a few months, hoping they would expose the problems. had a brunch with a friend there last Sunday morning. we were the only table sitting outside, and there were perhaps one or two other tables that were in the apartment at that time. once again, my eating was cold when it was served. order the pancake egg tacos. the pancakes were hardly warm and the eggs were actually cold, almost as if they were chilled. the server was apologetic and brought it back to warm it up again. they were returned and hardly warm. I have no idea what the problem was because they were not overcrowded. I highly recommend dinner, but unfortunately will not return for brunch.

Eating on 800 palm trail is very good. the menu can be difficult if a choice from the ground that we are there for small teller, not full escape. some of the small plate offers are not attractive for us, but those we choose are always good and plentiful. the service last night was hurried and the waiter was obviously overloaded. I don't know if they needed our table or he just wanted to run around to serve more tables than it would allow him to appear more attentive.

Excellent eating and service, but poor level too difficult to hear others on their table

Rachel the hostess took great care of making sure we had the exact table we wanted and is super friendly and welcoming. Chris and the bar manager were awesome at making sure we had delicious cocktails, great service, and a fun time. Everything we ordered was great!

I loved the new look of the restaurant. The last time I was there was when it was The Patio. The poached pear salad was delicious and I highly recommend the crab cake. I also had the cauliflower appetizer but felt it could have been cooked a little longer and served with more sauce. They have a great wine list. I will certainly go back!
