Had our wedding at Normanside and had the best experience with them. The event coordinator, Jaimie Briceno, was incredible to work with. She made our day so easy and beautiful. She went above and beyond to make our wedding exactly what we wanted. The price was very reasonable and it included everything (open bar, cake, and more). I would highly recommend Normanside Country Club for weddings or any other event. Food: 5

This review is based off a wedding I recently attended there. I'm a photographer with my own business and a former Executive Chef and this review is unbidden from the location. I've bern in the event industry a long, long time. I gotta say, the folks on the event staff from the wedding coordinator to the Chef at this place are simply superb. The food offered was better in taste, consistency, and look than any other venue I've ever been too as a photographer. I was shocked. The venue was easy to work with and I cannot imagine anyone not being more than satisfied with their effort. This whole group deserves appreciation.

Never in my life have I written a review. My friend and I play many 4pm and after rounds across the capital district as we work and always play after work. Tonight was a first in decades for us. To try and keep this short, we had an employee literally threaten our lives because we were golfing at 7:35pm and there cut off was 7:30pm. We were not told of this, so we had no idea. On a par 3 we both hit on the green and were pulling around to put, a golf cart pulled around in front of us, that you could tell worked there. We both said, this is our last hole. The employee pulled next to us and said your done you need to get your balls. We said ok, we will put this out and leave no problem. He said no you're picking them up now and you're leaving. Right away very upset and we have no idea why. Said again ok we will put this out as we are on the green and leave. He became very angry and said no go get your balls and leave. Asking if we were members to the semi-private club, saying he would have got us banned but now would make sure we never play there again. Still confused as we didn't know the end time two the twilight round that he claimed ended at 7:30pm, it was 7:35pm. We started to go get our golf ball off the green, he said no, only one person needs to go get the golf balls. So I left the person I was playing to go get our balls. While walking over I hear the employee say, I want to put you in the ground right there. Very confused I still go collect the golf balls. While walking to get them he yells at me to hurry up I'm taking to long. We gathered the golf balls and left. He cursed and in a threatening manner many times throughout I just didn't want to put that on here for kids to see. Never in my life have I experienced this at a golf course.
