This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. From the outside, it doesn’t look like much, and honestly, the interior isn’t impressive either—at first, I was tempted to leave. However, Chef Wilson approached us and talked about our preferences for the meal. His extensive knowledge and quiet confidence quickly won us over, so we shared a few dish ideas, and he crafted a superb menu for us. The ribs were tender and perfectly seasoned, while the stir-fried beef was incredibly flavorful and practically melted in my mouth. They clearly know what they're doing here. Chef Wilson shared that the pandemic nearly put them out of business, but they persevered. The sushi chef, who's been with him for years, was fantastic as well. Don’t let the decor or atmosphere deter you from experiencing one of the best meals you’ll find in the county. It truly felt like we had our own personal chef for the night. It was an exceptional experience.

Wilson, the owner, truly provided us with exceptional service. We simply shared our preferences, and he made spot-on suggestions that matched our group's taste and portion needs perfectly. The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the beef in our cooked dish was the most tender I've ever had at a Chinese or Japanese restaurant. The salmon nabe served as a flavorful yet light complement to the other dishes. My friends raved about the sparerib appetizer, which was so large it could easily have passed as a main course (though I don’t eat pork). The sushi chef was wonderful, clearly showing great care and pride in her craft (hats off to a female sushi chef!). Don’t let the decor or ambiance deter you from enjoying the fantastic food, and be sure to head across the street afterwards for some delightful soft serve ice cream for dessert!
