Tavern 42 - Delaware

Tavern 42 is quite a remote bar, located in an isolated area, yet it still attracts a lively crowd. They frequently host live music events, and there are several good beers available on tap.

I waited nearly an hour and a half for two burgers, some chili, and a French dip. Perhaps if the servers weren't busy taking shots with the regulars, our food might have arrived sooner.

Absolutely terrible experience. The beer was flat, and the fish and chips were overly battered and undercooked to the point of being inedible. It's a shame because I used to enjoy this place.

This restaurant/bar has gone through several owners, but the current owner/manager has truly elevated the establishment! The atmosphere is fantastic and very inviting. The menu features a wide variety of dishes that are simply incredible! There’s an outdoor terrace, a spacious bar, and a separate dining room suitable for large groups. They also have live music on Friday nights. I would highly recommend it to everyone!

Ripp is fantastic! The prime rib is cooked perfectly to medium rare, and the French dip was fabulous. The service was outstanding, with staff visiting tables to discuss the quality of the food. It was very impressive, and we will definitely be returning! Highly recommended!
