Asahi Sushi Hibachi - Delaware

What a fantastic spot for fantastic sushi and hibachi! My favorite sushi dish is the Crazy Shrimp. I always order it to go, and the food is consistently delicious. If I'm looking for a quick meal, I usually opt for a regular table. However, if I want the full culinary experience, I choose to sit at the Hibachi Grill. I highly recommend this place!

We celebrated a birthday dinner for six at Asahi, and it was a delightful experience. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and incredibly family-friendly, with attentive and professional chefs and servers. They were especially accommodating to our 4-year-old granddaughter, even providing her with a lovely balloon. The hibachi food was cooked and served to perfection, from the fried rice to the steak and seafood—everything was delicious. I highly recommend this gem in Delaware to anyone looking for exceptional food and an enjoyable culinary experience.

It took us a while to find Asahi, but I'm so glad we did! The food is outstanding. The chicken yakisoba is particularly delicious, and my sons absolutely love the rare fillet. I enjoy pairing it with the sushi, and I'm consistently impressed. While the quality of the food is crucial, what really keeps us coming back are the owners. Linda and her husband always treat us with such warmth and joy, making us feel right at home. Good food is important, but the people at Asahi are what makes our visits special and regular. They even stayed open for us during bad weather when we were the only customers, knowing it was our mother’s birthday. Thank you, Asahi!

The in-house reopening was visited on 7/1/21. If you are looking for authentic Hibachi style food without the heavy sauces then not further. How to taste hibachi! Our server was very pleasant and our chef was competent and entertaining. Our last culinary experience here was a few years ago under previous ownership.

We came a little late, but that didn’t matter. We were welcomed in and had a delicious meal. Our chef did a fantastic job presenting our food and everything came out great. Also, the sushi was fantastic.
