1808 American Bistro - Delaware

The bar selection is wonderful and varied, plenty of draft beers as well! The duck was moist and tender and the crispy skin just how you want it, the Swiss chard, delightful, and the cherries and gastrique were perfect accompaniments. The ribeye steak frites was delectable and fries out of this world! The pork belly shmeared on the fresh bread was well complemented with the cooked cabbage slaw... and the whiskey bread pudding was in the goldilocks zone just moist enough and crispy on top. Everything was above expectation. We are already planning to return within the week.

We trusted 1808 and the wonderful staff to host dinner for my boss and his wife. As always, 1808 proved to be the place to go in Delaware county or for that matter... central Ohio. Thank you John and your entire staff.

Eating was not hot. everything was cold. the waiter was not attentive. we will not go back.

We visited during NYE and had an amazing dinner. Both the food and the service was wonderful. We will definitely be back!
