We had the choice of standard breakfast places; IHOP Denny's but I'm not a fan of one, so I always look for the hole at the wall places or at least places I didn't hear. We saw that General's Cafe had good reviews and hadn't heard about it in Texas, so we thought we would try. The short version is that in a week of work on California, it was the best scare we had so far. The interior is what you would expect for an old school diver... The good smells, old people eat, old decor, right. I have the country phone (a good 9/10 for taste and 10/10 for servings), my wife got the breakfast sandwich and rated it 10/10. She has the land potatoes absolutely LOVED. I have the hash-browns, but after tasting their potatoes I should get the land potatoes instead. The oldest daughter got an Ommlett and loved him. The kids have pancakes, bacon and sausage. We wanted crispy bacon and we got crispy bacon. They also loved their breakfast. Our waitress was as nice as she could be. All in all, 10/10 experience.. Overall for all five of us with water eating the whole way around an orange juice was $92.00. I'm pretty steep for what I lived in Texas, but that's California. Can't recommend this place enough! Great.
This is a great place to eat with your family, friends or a love. The food is delicious and well prepared. The restaurant itself is well kept and clean of tables, flair and toilets. The service is top service. Very preliminary waitress who knows the menu. Generals Cafe also has a website. It helps to find it. I personally recommend Generals Cafe and Grill to come and eat with your family, friends or love at any time.
Excellent fresh, delicious breakfast. The waitress was great and attentive. I'll be safe on my next trip. Tks!
For years we have only experienced the best service and quality and quantity of food. People are beautiful, friendly and welcoming.
Former perkos off the highway on County line road or avenue 0 in Delano. Decent breakfast very well. Priced service left a little bit to be desired but you know there is a pandemic and all right now
