Lin's Garden - Delano

We go there from time to time. Used to go to Lee’s Kitchen in Rockford. Like the combo meals (especially cashew chicken) and chowmein.

In addition to their wonderful Chinese food, they also have a variety of American style food. On a whim I ordered off the American portion of the menu, and to my surprise it was really good.

When your craving that plate Sesame chicken, Jasmine rice, and cream cheese wontons this place does the job.

We got takeout about a year ago. I should have reviewed it back then. But I am reviewing now because I wanted to let you know how bad the Chinese is. We ordered takeout twice in the same week. It was horrible the first time but thought maybe it was a bad day or some thing. Nope. The food was not fresh at all. It tasted like it was made a week ago and still served it. I could not eat it. It smelled bad too.

We had an excellent experience with fantastic service and delicious food. We're giving you five stars! We loved your Rockford location, and this was our first time ordering takeout in Delano. Thank you for your outstanding service during these challenging times!
