Philly Diner - DeLand

Of course, having breakfast in person is always better and hot, but overall it was good. The bacon wasn't cooked as requested, but I did the Build Your Own Breakfast, and they got everything else right.

The bacon was crispy; the French toast was cool, but ok; the sausage was too cold to enjoy; and the eggs were tasty. I didnt like how everything was packaged in one container. My food arrived cool which affected my enjoyment of it so maybe next time I would pay the extra to expedite my order because I was the last of multiple orders

I love Philly Diner, but I would never order from them for delivery again. Dining in is fantastic, but my recent delivery experience was disappointing. The salad was just tossed into a box alongside a hot Chicken Quesadilla, which surprisingly had no chicken—only cheese. I requested ranch dressing for my salad but received nothing at all, and I also asked for sour cream for my chili, but that was missing too. The Philly Cheesesteaks had barely any cheese at the bottom, and the veggies and sauce were just thrown on top. One sandwich was supposed to come with onions and green peppers, but they forgot the onions—perhaps they confused it with another order without onions. If you can, I definitely recommend visiting in person, but I was not impressed with the delivery quality at all.

I usually don't write negative reviews, as I prefer to just consider it a waste of money. But this experience was so unpleasant that I felt compelled to share. My entire breakfast was so heavily salted that it was practically inedible – the eggs, hashbrowns, and country fried steak were all unfit to eat! Looking back, I remember a Philly cheesesteak from a previous visit being overly salty as well. Please consider taking the salt away from the cooks so the food doesn’t end up tasting like a salt lick! Or at the very least, taste what you’re serving to customers. It was far from an enjoyable experience.

Being a pregnant mom all I wanted was a western omelette. Something simple and easy!!!! Being from Jersey I got excited to see Philly Diner!!!! I was appalled when I received my delivery! I never had a greasy omelette in my life! The chucks of ham and peppers were so big that it looked like a sandwich on a greasy plate! Sorry but it was my first and last time ordering from here.
