Firehouse Subs - DeLand

This restaurant is a fantastic place to dine, and they also support our local heroes! The location in Deland was impeccably clean and well-kept. Despite it being busy during my visit, the staff did a fantastic job of keeping the line moving smoothly. I was impressed by how efficiently the staff worked behind the counter and communicated to ensure everything flowed at a steady pace. Despite the busyness, I received my lunch quickly and it was delicious! I had an Italian sub while my partner enjoyed a Firehouse Hero. Thank you for a clean, fast, efficient, and delicious meal!

This was my first visit to Firehouse Subs and I was impressed by the interior. I ordered the Medium Meatball Parm Sub and the Cheese Steak Sub. The food was absolutely delicious, some of the best subs I've had in Florida. The only downside was the lack of enthusiasm and warmth from the staff. They seemed unprofessional and not very excited about their jobs. There were no heartfelt greetings, smiles, or thank yous. While this may not warrant deducting a star, as a customer service professional myself, I believe they need better training in order to keep customers coming back.
