Airport Gin Mill - DeLand

I had my first visit to this mostly outdoor restaurant located right at the airport, offering fantastic views of the small aircraft parking area, runways, and skydivers. Today, we ordered cheeseburgers, fries, onion rings, and a chef salad. Everything was well-prepared and delicious, with fresh ingredients in the salad. It's a lovely spot to enjoy watching the skydivers and other planes landing and taking off.

I couldn't mention burgers to anyone in Deland without them asking, "Have you been to the airport bar?" After hearing that repeatedly, I decided it was worth stopping by to check it out...

OK Bar gets a solid "OK" from me. The food is decent, and the service is good. The prices are reasonable as well. If I find myself in the area for another reason, I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Friendly staff, good food. My husband and I really enjoyed our visit! It was good food at an affordable price! So nice to go out and not have to worry about the 'hassle ' to get refills, good food, or even so-so service...This place is simple, small town awesomeness! With its great atmosphere, live entertainment, and sweet staff...the good food is like the icing on the cake! Juicy chicken and burgers, specials on food and drinks...it 's sure to become a hometown favorite for anyone...even if they aren 't from around town!

Great Pastime. The first review is completly unfair. The service is friendly and exceptional, sometimes it can get busy but the server is always super nice and personable. The hamburgers have always been amazing, the same since I started going there as a kid. There are always live bands on the weekends, which is a big plus for me though they can get a bit loud. The atmosphere is great! They could use the NFL package though and some better drink specials.
