Tasty, creative-yet-comforting German food right on the grounds of Live Oak brewery. Lot's of space on premises. Perfect place to take kids to play while moms and dads chill with great food and beer. Neil, the owner, is a really nice guy who remembers hiscustomers and treats them well.

Was lucky enough to try this at an Octoberfest event in Austin, shortly after I ordered they would set out this BRB sign for 5 to 10 minutes at a time, the wait was not long at all for my food they were just perhaps understaffed or unable to take too manyorders at once. Well worth the wait I say! The schnitzel was fried perfectly, same with the ham hock croquettes amazingflavors, everything went well with the beer even their little jar of mustard, my only regret is I did not order morefood. Followed them on social media would certainly go out of my way for a chance to dine with them again

I have been living in a hotel for 2 weeks and eating out almost every meal. This has been my favorite so far. Highly recommended.

Fast friendly service. Had the bratwurst on a bun. The bun was nice and soft. The mustard and sauerkraut were just right as they blended nicely with the sausage and did not over power in flavor.
