The pastries are freshly made and there is a huge window where you can observe them. I thought the Bombay coffee with cardamom was really good. The place is beautiful with indoor and outdoor seats, but could use a touch-up to make it a little more inviting. The staff is also nice, although I wish they were a little more conversation. No big deal, just a personal preference. Overall, I enjoyed and recommended my visit.
I traveled to so many places in the country and outside, this place is cemented into my brain. I also felt inspired by the passion I saw in the kitchen. Really a wonderful bakery café. The almond Croissant should die. Bombay Latte was amazing, but if you get lactose the almond or oats milk version as the coffee is strong, it will lol. The morning bunk was so flocky and not excessively sugary. It has only one charm that not many others have in the country. Very recommended
Super friendly, casual. Good looking pastries. I had a great cinnamon roll. Free wifi. Although I was there in a cloudy morning, it looks like a beautiful view of the sea from the east side of the PCH.
I can't express how much I love this French bakery. If I could eat a croissant every day, I would do it, but it would hurt my waist and purse. The chocolate almond is my Fave, but it costs a pretty penny at $7 per... but if you watch them make it in the window, you will understand how much love and effort go into it. Bonus Tip: Ask for a warm one! Can't wait to return.
The Tuna Sandwich is truly amazing. It has some unique ingredients, like Manchego Cheese, and the most delicious bread. It was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten! The Avocado sandwich was delicious too. It has Gruyere cheese and is full of flavor. I had them add tuna one day, and that was delicious too. The Valencia Mocha has a touch of orange. Yum. I have had it both hot and iced. Both are so good, so I just love the coffee here. The Mocha with Vanilla is amazing too. And, the Almond Croissant was heavenly. And the fresh squeezed orange juice is wonderful! A local surfer said I 'had ' to try this place. That is always a great sign, I think. He was so right. And, he also said I 'had ' to try the Peach Delight Bar because it was delicious. Right again. There is a nice patio area to sit outside and glimpse the ocean. The seating and decor is very simple and unpretentious. I like that. They have been out of the focaccia bread for sandwiches occasionally. I guess I do love that it is made fresh, so that will happen. They are making some excellent food here! The staff has been a delight; so cheerful and helpful. This is my favorite French bakery in the area.
