The visitor center where you take the boat is next to the Krokodeilos restaurant, where I stopped to eat after a day of exploration. The menu is 100% Filipino and has some interesting dishes for 100-150 pesos which include rice, vegetables, and your choice of dishes, making it a very affordable outdoor option. Despite the long wait, I had a delicious Kinilaw (Filipino ceviche).
This is a traditional Filipino buffet-style restaurant, where you choose your dishes from a selection displayed in trays. The food is delicious and reasonably priced.
The restaurant serves food on cold plates, which can be a bit of a turn-off. I once ordered a halo-halo with my friends and it was not cold at all. It's a bit strange to have a halo-halo without ice or being cold. A friend of mine from Pacifico ate here and complained about the high prices. The ambiance of the place is nice, though. Many locals also grumble about the expensive entrance fees during peak party hours.
This restaurant is strategically located just before Sugba Lagoon, and they make the most of it. Even their bottled water is priced double compared to shops located slightly further down the road.
Nice place to eat something before making a tour through the lagoon.
