Tom Jerry's - DeKalb

The owner was always brilliant for me and Mehgan. The quality of the food is incredible for a hot dog in the gyro joint. For a quick bite to eat, I would definitely recommend Tom and Jerry. I like the euro on a pita, and I like it grilled, so it is well done. I like her salads and subs. You really can't go wrong here.

Go by. Wanted to stop in a local restaurant. The perfect place. Wasn't sure there was Dine on site. The manager came to the car invited us to sit and eat. Had the Gyro special was delicious. Had an old school Fast Food felt at the place. Eating was exactly what you would expect from here. Maybe an above-average Americanana. Nice place for a quick bite with a friend.

The food was served fast and hot. The servers gave us nice compliments. There was plenty of room on comfortable seats. The atmosphere was of the cool old baseball theme. Tom and Jerry's best describes the cool old theme.

As an NIU alum, I've been going here forever. Always stop in when I am passing through DeKalb. Good value for the dollar. Beef sandwiches, burgers, fried food, gyros. I always get the gyro and fries. For a fast food grill you can't go wrong.

Italian beef and reuben sandwich. Both excellent. Friends were like that. Last time, had a bad experience at their other location and had a bad rating. This time a good experience so I owed them a good review and they deserved it.
