Spanky's - Defiance

I absolutely love this place! Every visit feels like being part of a family, whether it’s your first time or you're a regular. The regular customers are really friendly too. Ian, the bar manager, does an amazing job taking care of everyone while multitasking. If he's on DJ duty, the music is always fantastic. Plus, there are awesome specials every day. The tacos on Sundays are particularly amazing!

It used to be my favorite hangout! Spanks is no longer Spanky's, and I won't be returning to that bar. It's a shame that Defiance, Ohio, treats such an icon of the city the way they do. Defiance should be ashamed for how they handle beloved establishments like Spanky's. Good luck, Spank; I'll miss you!

I enjoy visiting this bar. The owner is fantastic – he's funny and really engages with his customers. There's a great variety of drinks available. The lighting is pleasant, and there are several well-maintained billiard tables, along with other bar games. You definitely should check this place out!

This is not a pretentious braupub. That's a BAR. If you are looking for a chic little food this may not be the place for you, but if you are looking for some good tacos on Sunday, this will work. On Sunday you can get beer, but not alcohol and they have no full menu, but they have made tacos and tostadas American style. It was not unusual, but it was clean, and they seem to follow the rules of social distancing.

One of okay-st bars I've been too. You can get a beer for a 1.50 while you sit and watch the locals play pool. Can't really hate on that.
